WW2 planes?

Postby GreenScreen on 02/9/2015, 6:35 pm

FlightKit is great, but sometimes I'd like some good 3D models of older planes. Planes such as the DC3, DC4, Lancasters, B29s, B52s, and some of those other classic war planes.

Does anybody know a source of really good models of those types of planes, equal in quality to the models included in FlightKit and JetStrike? Also, what about things like Zeppelins, bi-planes, Spitfires, Hurricanes, etc?

Come to think of it, what about all the other machinery of WW2, like the tanks, artillery, etc? Are there any out there which are of the same very high quality as JetStrike models?

Thanks.

There are quite a few places you can get wwII models. Turbosquid is popular. I like tf3dm.com for free models, and archive3d.net for othe rfree models. I like th equality of tf3dm a little better

Thanks, Plae. Just found a pretty good B29 first up, at tf3DM. With the right materials it'd be excellent. Not free, though. US$149. But still, worth thinking about.

Thanks again.
