Action Essentials II: Real-world difference?

Postby lassebauer on 12/29/2014, 6:43 am

I´m wondering if there is any significant real-world difference between the 2K and the 720 packs of AE2?
Meaning: If you mostly work with 720-1080 materials, will you come up short often with the 720 pack?
Is the 2K worth the extra money?

And for VCP: Is there an upgrade price if you get the 720 version and want to upgrade to 2K later?
Thanks :)
I love goooooold. The look of it, the daste of it, the schmell of it, the dexture.
I love gold so much that I even lost my genitalia in an unfortunate schmelting accident. Hence the name....

If you work with film size footage like 2k or 4k, the 2k action essentials will definitely help if you need that extra resolution. If you work in 1080p or 720p, since most of the stock elements are full frame, a lot of the time you might end up scaling it down anyway so the 720p is usually plenty of resolution.

Currently we do not have a upgrade path, but we do have the 14 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, and you can contact support@videocopilot.net if you feel like you need extra resolution.
