Copy Frame from After Eff. into Photoshop!?

Postby Vinnie K on 12/18/2011, 12:15 pm

Hi Everyone,

I've been trying to export a frame, made in After Effects' into Photoshop using the "Copy Frame to Clipboard' function. Opened PS, standard settings, New File, Clipboard size, OK --> Edit, Paste...

No problem so far but the picture I used in After Effect has been cropped and I've feathered the edges of the picture I cropped. Now in PS the edges are not feathered but hardlined.
Is there any solution for this or is Photoshop not able to 'see' feathered edges from a still frame from After Effects??

thnx for the replies in advance everyone!

Why don't you just use "Save Frame As..." function?

Hi Sasha,

Tried it immediately. It works. thanx for the solution. Can not figure out why this 'Clopy frame to Clipboard' didn't do the trick.

However as long as it can be done...!

Case closed!
