Postby vaako on 06/3/2013, 2:06 am

hi there
there is something that's boring me all the time
it's the move tool shortcut
in fact when i press v sometimes it gives me the view menu instead of the move tool

i don't understand that
do you know how to set this so that i can find the move tool instead of the view menu everytime?

thanks

If alt is pressed first, the view menu will come up.

ok i didn't know that
so when the view menu comes then i have to press alt once again to go to the tools menu

another thing that is really stupid from photoshop and it is the only software to do that
is when you cancel something it"s ctrl z but when you want to cancel several things at the same time you have to press ctrl z and then ctrl alt z

with the others adobe programm you press ctrl z all the time

stupid thing i don't think that you can fix that
can you?

thanks for the tip anyway

That's not a Photoshop thing - that's a Windows thing. When you press alt, it selects the menu bar at the top. Alt+spacebar, for example, will bring up the close, move, min, max, options.

That's so you can switch back and forth to see the effects of what you've done.

You'd have to read through the Photoshop help document to find out if the keyboard shortcuts are editable.
