CAMERATRACKER?

Postby Jack E Hood on 07/23/2012, 11:17 am

Can I use CAMERATRACKER and Element 3D together? Like if I was to use CAMERATRACKER to track the footage, and in the footage the camera rotated around a object, then add the CAMERATRACKER to Element. would it work? would it rotate around the object I am adding with Element like it was 3D? Or would it only use Element as a comp and make it 2D...

How would it be done?

am I making any sense?

I have Element, but not CAMERATRACKER, I plan to get CAMERATRACKER.

Element is aware of the the 3d camera and reacts to it. I haven't used cameratracker but I've used CS6's built in camera tracking and it works fine.

Track the scene, once it solves for the camera then create the camera. That's it, your Element stuff is now following the footage. You just have to manually move your object on the X, Y, and Z until it's in the right place and moving correctly in the footage.
Just trying to learn!
