Re-Export OBJ from Element 3D?

Postby billyhoiler on 07/23/2012, 5:00 am

Is it possible to export a certain frame-state from an element 3d animation back to an OBJ File?
For somebody not using C4D(Mograph) as his 3d package it could be quite handy to export the current state of animation from Element 3D. Even if only as a still-frame status of the object... :?:

No, Element cannot export objs back out, you can only import them. It can save obj model presets, only for use in element though. This would save your material and object settings, so you don't have to set them up again in different projects. (right click on the model name in the scene interface for this option)

thanks for the quick-reply.
Ok then maybe this would make sense for the next release and probably a not too complex feature.
(especially useful for high-res renderings which seems not possible in AE with this plugin)
