Elem3D - instant crash, maybe credentials?

Postby soulhuntre on 07/12/2012, 2:18 am

Hey guys,

So I am in a NVIDIA GTX460 (on the list) and running Win7x64 (on the list) along with AE CS6 (on the list). My driver passed the compat test, and is the latest from NVIDIA. So in theory, Elem3D should run.

However, it does not. The INSTANT I try to apply it to a solid, it barfs and kills AE. Now, initially it HAD loaded enough to ask me for my VC login info. it is possible I mis-typed a password. Is it maybe crashing because ti can't authenticate?

The tool looks great, it is unfortunate that it is a bit fragile on launch but I am sure that will improve.

Hi Ken,

Have you download and tried the update for Element 3D that was released today ?
Do you have any crash log ?

Cheers,

Marc.

Hey there,

Yeah, I installed the update - no joy. Still crashes instantly.

No, I get no sort of crash log that I know of though it offers to send info to Adobe. Is your code generating a log you can use?
