Hello qubsik,

you can try this:

- Export your extruded object as obj (Scene Setup >>Hold Shift+click on File >>Export as OBJ)
- load the exported obj into the Scene Setup and use it as a replicator shape
- or use a 3D Program (example: free Blender) to create your replicator object

Sort of depends what your expected end result is.

For one, Element doesn't always recognize minor changes to model settings in the Scene Setup. Purging the cache forces an update.

The Path Resolution setting will only affect how many particles you get at corners and round parts. The Depth Segments will give you multiple particles along the z-axis. You won't get an even distribution of particles on the surface of the object this way.

What you might want to try, if you have Illustrator, to create additional geometry inside the letter. Outline the letter and split it to small squares, for instance. Then bring that back into AE as a mask, extrude in Element. You get a much more even distribution and you will be able to fill the letter volume with particles.

Nevermind. That's not such a good idea.
Using a Layer as the replicator shape might be better. Do the same, but select your omega as the layer, pump up the particle count to the thousands and then use multiple copies (Shape Options>Layers).
