using mocha pro with E3D

Postby badmonk on 11/23/2017, 7:26 am

hey guys

is there any tutorials on how to use mocha pro with E3D please? you know when you use the inbuilt 3d camera tracker and then use that data to lock 3d objects to the ground for eg so they change with the rotation and scale of the camera, well I would like to do the same using mocha pro but have searched youtube for hours/days even and cannot find anything that explains how to do what I need.
all I want is to be able to place a E3D object on the ground/wall for eg and stay there through my panning shot just like you can with 3d camera tracker where you paste the info from the tracked 3D null.

any methods please guys, thank you :D

Just track the footage, add a null. Create element item, add group null via element. Pick with position etc to the tracked null. Align and rotate as needed. Done.

If you are using Mocha Pro - you can also use the camera solver module to export 3D tracked camera and nulls. This is an older video but shows how Mocha pro and E3D can work together: https://vimeo.com/50599990
