Element V2 Tutorial Series - Helicopters, Hinges and more :)

Hi Guys,

I'm starting a tutorial series about how to use group folders, aux channels and other new features to setup your model rigs.

Part 1 is already online and is mostly about animating helicopters.
You can watch it here: https://vimeo.com/124621902

Part 2 is some in-depth look at group folders and aux channels with lots of examples as well as additional rigging of a Jetstrike model.
You can watch it here: https://vimeo.com/125091185

Part 3 is dealing with cars and how to deal with models that weren't optimized for E3D.
You can watch it here: https://vimeo.com/125322909

Part 4 is all about hinges.
Watch it over here: https://vimeo.com/125978622

Part 5 will show some more examples what you can do with aux channels.
Watch it over here: https://vimeo.com/126661857

If you have suggestions or ideas about other topics I could talk about, feel free to add a comment here or over at vimeo. No need to like, follow or subscribe because I'm not planing a tutorial career but this is just a fun project.

Thanks for feedback and suggestions....

Klaus

Thanks for the tutorial, any e3d tutorial is more than welcome, but you need to move your mic away from the keyboard. The sound is quite distracting.

Hello Klaus,

very good tutorial and many work to do that.
(Keine Kritik, nur ein Hinweis (wie plae57 schon sagte), das Mikro ist zu nahe an der Tastatur).

So, say "Thank you Klaus".

Thanks for the response so far. Really appreciate it. Part two is online and has better sound because I rigged up a makeshift mic-stand :)

Move group anchor point first, then place model in it = power tip of the week!

(I've been fiddling with the anchor point offset values all this time...)

Thank you!
