Keylighting HELP. (without green screen)
hi Andrew.
can you do me a thing.
i was just wondering and trying about keylight. and i what i can't do is using keylight on anime videos. i mean they don't got green screen background. can you show or tell me how to do it?
i tried and tired. otherwise i have to go with the old way. by masking
and i don't know about the chorma thing on After effects

why would you use keylight on a video that doesn't need keying? could you show us an example?

Either mask or use a difference matte keying:

If this doesn't work, use a roto-tracking method by using ie. trackeviz or some other script.

I don't quite understand your point but keylight is only used for (mostly) one colored background, so using it on anime isn't the right thing to do.
