Geographical Map Problem

Postby DiezeL on 02/5/2009, 10:01 am

Hello,

i'm whole new on this Forum, and i need to create a Geographical Map for a Documentation Video
of mine, to show the exact spots of the World War 1

Now i searched a while on Google, and ended up on this site, The Tutorials Look nice, but they
are not what i want..

Can someone direct me a tutorial or just simply explain "How-To" make it in Adobe After Effects CS3?

I don't want anything complicated, just a simple card of Europe, that zooms in to North-France/Belgium.

Anyway, thanks for reading :)

Not really following what you're asking for here.....Do you need to create a map, or do you need to know how to animate camera moves on a map you already have/will have?

I sent you a PM about this. If you want I can give you the address of about 5 differnt tuts that will point you in the right direction. Its an "easy" thing to do if you know what you are doing, if your new to it, its kind of hard to explain.

Ok, now Mox911 Helped me with a preset, which he made.

But i need a High Resolution Map of Europe, i Thought this was easy to find...

... but it's not!

Can anybody recommend me a site, where u can free download High Resolution Maps?

Most of them cost money, and i'm not planning to pay 50$ for a High Res. Map :D

True, or if you simply google "earth map" and check for extra large images you can get a ton. This depends on where this project will end up and what your output resolution is.
