Bevel Edge Expansion giving odd results

Postby KMac777 on 01/10/2018, 9:44 am

Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to expand out the bevel of some text, and the edges of letters like B and A are doing something a little odd. I've attached two snapshots to show what I mean. I'm pretty sure that Zaxwerks 3D invigerator has a way to fix this problem, but I'm not sure how to do it in Element 3D. Thanks in advance.

There were two options that MIGHT help fix this issue - Fix Holes and Spike Filter. I'm not sure but its a start

Advisable to make the font close to the final thickness before extruding. I use Illustrator for that, but other options exist.
