Color Vibrance Plugin - png alpha Artefacts

Postby plunksville on 07/1/2020, 10:51 am

Hello,
I'm using the great Color Vibrance plugin for After Effects and have come across an issue and wonder if anyone has a solution.

In the Color Vibrance settings, I set the 'Matte Alpha' option to ON to remove a black background. I then exported a png sequence of my animation.

After opening the png sequence in Photoshop to make some tweaks, I noticed that there was artefacts in the alpha. (You can see this in the attached image, I applied a stroke layer style to make the artefacts visible. NB - the darker area is a glow).

Has anyone else come across this or have a solution?

Many thanks
