Swinging through the city... practically

Postby AlexDoubleLL on 09/1/2016, 2:54 pm

I'm trying to create a spiderman-esq. swinging through the city scene. The only problem is I'm terrible at CG Modelling and animation.
I do however have access to a green room, and I have a CG model of the city where my shot takes place.
Is there possibly a way I could create a convincing swinging around scene with maybe element and a green screen?

No experience in VFX, probably not a convincing one.

BUT (and this is a big butt), it would take you a week or so to learn how to do it (again nothing like the spider man movie, but indie film good) The key to your success will be your planning. Putting the 3d model into e3d is simple. Moving the camera correctly through the city, well, that's a little harder. Adding a swinging "spiderman" that looks even remotely convincing, well, that will be the hard part.

Nah... all you need is an olympic gymnast who can be convinced to wear a spiderman outfit.
