Any help with plugin finding?

Postby ricostuart on 03/29/2016, 1:04 pm

Hi all,

First - awesome site! Very handy having helpful people to ask questions and to learn from in one decent place.

Right, I am all fairly new at this, but I'm slowly learning. I have started filming cars at my work going through dyno runs. So far so good. I want to add a little bit of flare by adding in a graph that animated to show its dyno figures. I am struggling to find a plugin or script that might help.

For example, something like this clip:

The dyno software can export its data to a CSV file, but I presume that it would be too easy to import that data onto a plugin to produce the graph?

This is my channel : ... t18LD1hprg

As you can see, its still in its extremely early stage, but you will get the idea of what I am intending.

Hi ricostuart, welcome. Not my territory at all but if you have a live computer screen readout you might consider using a screen capture program such as Camtasia Studio to grab it?

I don't know if there's a specific plug-in. But longer way I'd imagine is to use the pen tool to draw the line and then have it animate on using a mask for an effect like Vegas (or Trapcode 3d stroke if you have it).
