Keying Issue Question

Postby Action104 on 01/30/2016, 2:34 pm

Hey Guys,

I have fallen out of VFX for a little while and have recently got back into it. I am currently working on quite a grainy shot where I need to green-screen an image into a picture frame (the picture frame has a green background, the rest of the footage is live action). I have forgotten how to be able to key just a certain select area without it affecting the rest of the footage. I have tried using masks but this is not working. I am sure it has something to do with masks but I must be doing it wrong! Any help much appreciated!

Thanks,
Action104
I happen to know everything there is to know about maple syrup! I love maple syrup. I love maple syrup on pancakes. I love it on pizza. And I take maple syrup and put a little bit in my hair when I've had a rough week. What do you think holds it up, slick

Go to youtube and search for corner pin, and tracking. You use these together to replace screens and signs.

I have tried using corner pin, one issue that rises is that when I am trying to mask the corner pin due to someone being in front of the picture frame, the mask doesnt fit the corner pin correctly

Try precomposing the corner pin layer then mask that.

Or just simply go frame by frame and correct the mask and track first ...
