How To Do This Effect...

Postby andrewkeyser on 06/16/2015, 2:01 pm

I need help ASAP- hoping this gets a response by tonight...

I need to duplicate the effect seen at 1:25 in this music video... It is where the image almost looks like it's melting- so like a meltdown glitch...

How would I do this- or attempt to do it?

Assuming you have the graphic, I believe the effect could easily be achieved with Trapcode Form (Easy is a relative term).

Hi Andrew. You could get something like it using the image as a layer emitter in Trapcode Particular. Pump up the Particles per second, set emitter direction to Directional. 0 all the Direction and Velocity settings, set Physics Gravity to minus number. There is a lot of tweaking you could do but this might get you started?
