Sci-Fi 48 Hour Film Challenge 2015 - VFX Artists Wanted

Hello.

I'm looking for vfx artists and compositors to join my team for this year's Sci-Fi London 48 Hour Film Challenge.

It's a pretty large scale event, with some well known judges, including Neil Gaiman this year, which is awesome.

My team will be participating in Manchester, UK. It's likely that you will be very far away from there, but that's fine. We can work remotely using skype/dropbox etc.

To give you an idea of the kind of vfx work involved, here are some previous winners of the contest.

Our team so far consists of half a dozen professional and semi professional film makers. Writing, directing, camera op, sound recording and editing are all taken care of. All we need now are one or two folks with vfx and/or compositors skill.

The contest begins 9am on April 11th and ends 9am on the 13th, London time (GMT +1).
It's likely to be around 10pm on the 11th before we transfer any footage for vfx work (that's 4pm EST).

If this sounds like your kind of thing, PM me and we'll continue the conversation. It would be useful if you included links to any work you have online.

Some of my previous work:

48 Hour Guerilla Film Challenge 2012 - won cinematography award, nominated for editing award.
Sci-Fi London 48 Hour Film Challenge 2013 - made a hash of this one. Took on too much work myself and ended up running out of time.

Hope to hear from you soon.

If you're still looking for people I would be interested, contact me if you're still interested in more "crew members."

If you are interested in getting involved, the local 48hr film sites (I believe there are about 120 different cities) They usually have a list of the groups creating films, and a way to contact them and offer your skills. I have been doing the 48hr film project with basically the same cast and crew for 5 years now, and we have a blast every year. I know other groups would kill to get someone that can add some VFX to their films.
