Making 3D PDS useable in AE with only CC apps?

So I have a 3D book mockup in PSD format, and an animated cover image in After Effects (both in AEP and rendered into MP4 formats).

What would the process be for getting this rendered as a 3D book mockup with an animated cover in after effects using only things included with Adobe Creative Cloud? I know you can't use 3D PSD files in AE, but I think there are also workarounds to get it in a format AE can use.

I'd love to hear what you think would be my best bet for putting the PSD in a usable format, as well as what needs to be done from there to get this animated cover onto the book mockup once it's in a usable format.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help with this.

This is the mockup I was hoping to use: https://covervault.com/5-x-8-mass-paperback-book-3d-mockup/

and this is the animated cover I created

If I had the funds to buy covervault's whole mockup suite, and Element 3D this would be nothing, but for now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to do it the hard way.

Which will probably make me a better designer in the long run so I'm good with that lol :D

annnd hopefully this work will bring the affluence that will lead to me owning everything Andrew and VCP have to offer, but till then :?:

Depends on what you want to do exactly. But if the book is static and all you want to do, is to place animated layer as the cover of it, I would use corner pin effect for that. That's it.

Corner pins definitely did the trick. For some reason I had the idea that the book mockup would actually have to exists in 3 dimensional space, this simplified everything greatly.

Thanks!
