Where can I get StarWars sounds?

Postby Hacker_Link on 05/13/2018, 6:48 am

I am making a small stairways video and I need to get the sounds for the different lightsaber sounds (swinging, hits, ignition, turning off sound etc), blaster sfx, and also Kylo Ren's ignition and shut down sound. All help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

A lot of people get the out of the install folders of the old ‘90s and 2000s video games like Jedi Knight. The best way to get them would probably be by getting one of the sound boards from the companies that make cosplay light sabers. They have the most variety of sounds and are pretty high quality. That would be like Saberforge or Ultra Sabers. Not sure if they’ll give you or sell you the soundboard files without actually buying one of their lightsabers, but it’s worth a shot. Be careful with Star Wars fan films... they’re pretty overdone and it’s hard to find a niche that isn’t something exactly like someone else has done 10,000 times before. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just tough to impress people with Star Wars nowadays if that’s your goal.
I really miss being able to have an Avatar : (
