stabilizing a timelapse, applying tracking points issue

Postby G4nesha on 07/15/2016, 1:41 pm

Hello,
I have a problem trying to stabilize a timelapse footage I made.
I am using the "inner" stabilizing module in AE with tracking points,
I chose my tracking points , i can see the path the points have made to stabilize the footage but when i click on apply,
AE asks me wether to apply on a X and Y axis ,Y only or X only (which is normal), when i click ok,
it seems nothing happened, i can see my keys added to my timeline, but when i render my video via media encoder, it's not stabilized at all!
I don't get it, i have been working on a clip made of timelape sequences , i stabilized all the scenes using this technique , and it worked really well.
It's been a long time since, am i missing something here? a "minor" detail?

Did you check that the Target layer that the tracking data is being applied to is your footage layer?
