How do I resize a rectangular mask?

Postby sb_stefan on 03/26/2016, 4:07 am

I have a layer consisting of a video file. On top of that layer I've drawn a rectangular mask using the rectangle tool. Now I want that mask to be slightly bigger than what I initially drew. How do I do that? Using the selection tool and grabbing hold of a corner or a side of the mask just lets me move the mask around, not resizing it.

These are all ways you can do it:

• Double-click on mask edge

• Right-click on the mask and go to Mask and Shape Path>Free Transform Points

• Go to Layer>Mask and Shape Path>Free Transform Points

• Select the mask and hit Command+T (Mac), Control+T (Windows)
