Hi guys,

i am a new member in the happy e3d owner club and am fighting with this effects.
It's a intro text animation. I am sure it's quite simple if you know how to do the different steps.

1. Question - how to animate the groups to reveal the glowing areas
2. how to get he areas to glow in the first place

Thank you in advance for your support

I managed to get the lighting by myself. :)
So Question no. 1 is still open.

Well, those templates are always pretty ridiculous when you look under the hood. But, I just gave it a go with simple textures and I think what could work is... If you have separate groups of textures (see pic 1):

And you sandwich the glowing texture with 2 of the same colour texture.

Then you animate the Z position in the green groups (group 1&3 in my case) to slowly move apart, revealing the red group.

Obviously you then you cameras, glows, blurs, etc to make it look epic like that template.

I have to admit - i took the semi easy route. I liked this style so much that i purchased the template and then took it apart.
Rebuilded it from scratch for learning purposes and now i have a new vfx intro. :)

It works kinda like you said - different groups for Front, Middle, Back and the Illuminated areas. Thank you. :)
