College Education?

Postby 8Daren on 03/7/2016, 11:08 am

Hello :D

I've watched your tutorials here for many years, and you have inspired me to make visual effects my career. I just turned 20 last month and I'm hoping to go to college on the west coast. I would really appreciate any input on possible colleges and degrees for this field, also any other career advice would be awesome.

Thank you,
- Daren

Hi Daren, you just need to google top animation schools on the west coast. These three are on my top list:
California Institute of the Arts
ArtCenter College of Design
City College of San Francisco

If you ask me, I would recommend City College of San Francisco (though I put it the last one). They offer Certificates in Visual Media Production or Digital Animation.
