There are several tutorials that are returning the following error when going to watch:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/andrew/www/videocopilot.net/application/modules/tutorials/views/tutorials/single_view.php on line 41

and displaying
Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/andrew/www/videocopilot.net/application/modules/tutorials/views/tutorials/landing_view.php on line 59

on the preview page :?

Noddy-

No searching will help with this issue.

I am not in China. And yet the tutorials are broken. They do not work for me. I think something is wrong with Videocopilot. Noddy, you'r post is not helpful at all!

Thanks in advance, Videocopilot, for fixing this issue.

error:Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/andrew/www/videocopilot.net/application/modules/tutorials/views/tutorials/single_view.php on line 41

Thanks for fixing the problem. I did not create any threads on this issue. It seems multiple threads were created because somebody assumed this was a China only problem and it is clearly not.

All the thread I have merged reporting exactly the same error. That's why Noddy wrote that some search would have been usefull even if no solution have been provided. I don't see a possible confusion with the China problem here.

We will fix this ASAP.

Cheers,

:D Really trying to watch beginning tutorials.

None will open.

Just the WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH with active links at the top of page, but no tutorial.
Basic training page does not allow for watching of tutorials, kind of frustrating. :(

Downloaded the most recent flash player, restarted, etc...still no luck.

What's happening?

Thank you for your time and attention. Awesome site. Looking forward to watching tutorials!

It seems there's no official word on why lots of tutorials aren't working.

Before the new site was put up I had noticed some of the old tutorials weren't working, so I figured this was because I knew a new site was coming soon.

Since the launch though they are still down.

Anybody know what's happening?
