CC Particle World problem! Help!

I have used CC particle a million times and ther has always been options, however this time I opened up After Effects and there was no options control in the CC Particle World! I don't know what went wrong can you please help!!

Depends on what version of After Effects you are using. If your using CS5 then there are no options. If the options disappeared after an update, that could be why. But if you didn't then try reinstalling After Effects.

I'm using the trial and they don't even have that effect. How can I get it (without buying the full version obviously)?
