Yeah, every time I type in the web address I get it. But when I click the header or another link it is fine.

Can you be a little more specific? Where are you when this happens and where are you clicking?

EDIT: Ok I got it. It's my bookmark. I had "http://www.videocopilot.net/index/" for my shortcut in my bookmarks bar. Whenever I click that is when I get the 404 message. But I typed in the actual web address. (http://www.videocopilot.net) and it worked fine. It must be that you don't have a page named "index" anymore and my bookmark just tried to link to that, because your new home page is just "http://www.videocopilot.net/".

KMPfilms wrote:whenever I type in "www.videocopilot.net" The first page has the 404 Page not found message. The header and design and buttons of the website are still there so I just click "forum" and it takes me right to the forum index. I use Firefox 3 on a PC. I can try it on my Mac with Safari if you want to see if it does it on all browsers and platforms.

EDIT: I went and looked back. It's your index page that's missing.

Erm i think you may have a problem your end. The index is not missing at all.

The dead link that I found was the "Download Gallery" link in Film Magic Pro

Worried, meh... I will fix the index page though, just in case its indexed by google and bookmarked by other people that way. Thanks for the heads up on the gallery missing, I'll be relinking that in as well. Cheers

edit 1: http://www.videocopilot.net/index/ is now fixed
edit 2: All links fixed at http://www.videocopilot.net/fmp/

Well in all fairness i'm sure this feels like home to a lot of us, so why not make sure it works. VCP and the VCP team have spent time and consideration over the last few years helping us, so we can at least help make sure the site runs smoothly.
