Kaput!!

Postby Dan on 08/28/2008, 10:50 am

Was it only me that has not been able to get into the website until now?

According to me it's been offline all day (12hrs)

Hi,

As far as I know, there were no problem with the website. Indeed, the forum was down after the crash of the database. This issue have been fixed.

Hmm, Strange...

Sadly i tried to access VCP and the forums from 2 different computers today and both in different location, and was greeted with the images below.

Seems odd if it happened all day from two different places. I had also cleared my cache on both machines, so it wasn't that.

Any ideas??

Dan

Same thing happened to me today... I was able to access the main site (the blog) for a couple of minutes but nothing more than that...

Wow I didn't know IPhone had such extensive support that you even could manage databases... Maybe it's time for me to think about an upgrade^^

Anyhow, glad to know it's fixed =)

Actually, I was able to use phpmyadmin through the safari browser on the iphone to manage. I've also jailbroken my iphone so I have terminal installed on my iphone that I use to ssh into the server. I believe they have an a app store app that allows ssh as well.

Tut, Tut Patrick, Jailbroken iPhone! :? (so is my old one)

*ahem* nothing to see here...... move along.......

As for the "official" app store application, yes there are indeed 4 to chose from at this time.

SSH - £2.39
iSSH - £2.99
Touchterm - £1.79
Mides IDE - £6.49
