Fly test

Postby Thezad on 08/14/2008, 5:47 pm

Hi there :) I have made a 3d model in 3ds max, and I have added a biped in it. What I'm trying to do is to animate the model right, so it would look more realistic then to cut out myself from the main footage.

This is what I knows needs to be done better:
- Texture the model
- Animate the biped more smoothly
- Change the color of the "shockwave" and also maybe rotate it a little

And this is what I thought about adding:
- 3d space and add a camera to follow the flying object.

Be aware that the soundeffects will come a little to early because I rendered it in xvid format.. don't know why.

Please leave a comment if you would :D I like criticism, tips and tricks!

ahh reminds me of Heroes haha..good trajectories..I'd say blend in your 'flying man' more, it just sort of changed to white and a little depth of field when ur shooting would be nice. IMPO!

Good work so far. Keep working with the lighting though. Maybe a little more depth.

All i think you would need to do on this shot is add a red tshirt and blue jeans for a texture (its so heavely motion blurred the dont need to be to detalied) it shouldnt be too hard if the model is in seperate parts but maybe harder if it is a full model but still possible

Yea, I'm working on it :P It's a full model, but I have devided it in the parts I'm going to texture with polygons, or Material ID.
