Titles had a good effect but stayed too long, the gunshots where great. the lightening was great, the comet was really cheese (it was too bright and the camera shake needed more umph) the light saber was horrible ( at times i saw your stick and the bottom part of the saber was round ) and killing your friend with lightening was awesome ( the color in the scene where amazing and it looked really good ). overall it was good.

Keep in mind some key elements youll see in succesful movies, for example, I agree that the intro titles were way too slow. put yourself in the shoes of someone watching the movie, the slow drawn out titles are boring to the eye. you lose interest and find yourself wishing the titles would end and the action would begin.
also i think you missed one very important thing when creating the comet shot. comets are incredibly fast and powerful, at least the interesting ones are. yours seemed to float to the ground and lay down. wheres the excitement!? smash that comet into the ground and make it shake and rumble at the point of impact! remember to have it move slowly when far away, then much faster when closer to the camera. play with the keyframes and motion curves.
you work shows effort, but i think you need that little something more.
keep working at it! watch movies and rewind and study titles and scenes that interest you!
i remember it took me 5 hours to watch mr and mrs smith cuz i kept rewatching muzzleflashes and firey explosions, just to get a better idea of how the pros do it.

Tnaks for the comments. I agree with the titles. They need more umph and the comet...well that was an experiment. sometimes i find you have to put something on the canvas before you can start to improve it. I'll give it a go again. I want this film to be great and your comments have helped alot...thank you very much.
