Project EFC

Postby greyfin on 12/27/2015, 7:19 pm

Hey guys,

I'm working on a broadcast design package for EFC (It's the South African equivalent of UFC). This will include a range of elements such as logo builds, wipes, straps, versus screens, sponsor boards, count downs, etc.

Here's some straps and logo style frames I've been working on so far. I did them in element 3D. I'll continue to update this thread as the project goes along. Hopefully it will be interesting for all.

Thoughts and feedback welcome.

Cool!

Maybe you could give the silver/metal parts of the frames a more metallicy highlight instead of that yellow circle.

I took a while to figure out what you meant but I see now! The yellow specular highlight on the silver part of the strap looks very stuck on, the highlight should be white, not yellow, with brushed metal look as you suggest. Good call and thank you.

Looks a lot smoother! Good job!

One small tweak might be necessary though.
Maybe the name tags need to be a little darker grey for readability purposes.

Project is a no-go. EFC has a designer who they are close with and works for free. Cant compete with that!

Will keep these designs for something else then.
