Nice colour in the scene but you need to match the meteor to it to it matches. also make it move faster as it is so close to the camera 8-)

It looked really great. But as said before, a little color matching would make it even better :D

Nice job! What are you using to composite? AE, Shake?

I agree with what Ben said. The speed of the comet isn't right. It's going a little slow, which makes it look like it is far away but then the explosion looks close. So either speed up the comet as it goes past or make the explosion look further away. Also a little more CC to match the scene would really sell it.
Apart from that everything looks really nice. Look foward to seeing your next attempy :D

It's a good one ;) improve color matching, make the meteor go faster and add some motion blur, that should do.

to be honest...i think the smoke is the only thinkg that looks real...the meteor looks great, but i think it should move a lot faster, and i think the shake is a bit much...

i think if you were to tone down the wiggle and make it meteor move faster...you would have something great...

also try and illuminate the road from the meteor a little better...

The explosion kicks in a little late, the meteor is too slow, you could improve the color correction/matching and the trail of smoke doesn´t look right (might be because it dissolves pretty fast and even).
Other than that, the general idea of the szene looks good to me.
