Wow, I hate tracking and I couldn't imagine doing anything like that! It would be a nightmare! But that was cool! Great job. It looked real and believeable. Again, great job.

Looks good but you lost all the reflections. Try separating the alpha layer and then reapplying it to your track so that the reflections return. this process is essentially what professional trackers like Mocha (http://www.imagineersystems.com/products/mocha/) do.

3 Things:

1. It looks great, putting the reflections back would be nice of course, but still, without seeing the before to clue the mind that they were there in the first place, the only people who notice will be people like us.

2. I understand why people hate tracking, but honestly, if I could get a job only doing tracking, rotoscoping and creating masks (as tedious as that sounds to most people) I would be all over it.

3. I've been trying to get my company to get mocha-ae for the last two months, I may have to end up blackmailing my boss to make it happen, but I can't help but yearn for it like I yearn for love.

kidding... well, only a little.

I know mocha... In this project I didnt use any trackers.. its all handanimated to fit the screen... a 3d tracking program like PFtrack would possibly do a good job too... might do that in the future.

The reflection u mentioned sounds interesting. I will try and do that! should be pretty easy know that i got a matte for the screen, so it shouldnt be a big challenge to accomplish.

Nice job! Add the reflection like they said and its golden. If you look good you will see the icons wobble a bit to much but no one is gonna notice that! And even if they do: The phone moves and icons seem to move with it.

That's really cool. Must have been a pain to hand track it, but you pulled it off nicely. I cant wait to see the finished product ;)
The reset button was my idea.
