I tried that when I was 15 yrs old, I got a Hernia :|
But hey nice tut, you make sense and sound good, and that's a plus :)
and to work with Lights and Shadows you can try using top view and other views to adjust the position of the light.
But all in all good job Ill give it a 3 1/2 out a possible 5 points :ugeek:

Under the light options play with these settings,
Intensity, Shadow Darkness, Cone Angel, Cone Feather, Shadow Diffusion.
These can effect the shadow greatly and make it more natural, especially the shadow darkness and diffusion.
Not to mention the angle and position of the light.
