I just made a new showreel and I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Well I'm personally not sure what you're showcasing, editing, color correction etc.

It almost comes across as a trailer for an Indy film.

I think some explanatory text would do it good. Like you could say the name of the production with each clip and what you did (directing, cinematography, color correction, etc.). Without any explanation you expect to see a story -- the human mind is always looking for logic in image sequences -- even more so, since there are a number of continuous scenes with several shots. But there isn't a story, so you are left confused by the end. Labels that make it clear these are all from different productions would help greatly.
