ANDREW HELP!

Andrew or someone HELP! After effects cs5.5 has the new warp stabilizer that automatically stabilize's the footage for you. This throws off the whole stabilize motion step in the tutorial. And simply ''tracking motion'' doesn't work. I cant get the distortion to stick in cs5.5. HELP!

Just wondering. What's the benefit of reverse-motion tracking it.
Couldn't you also just do a normal track, apply to a null object, and then make an adjustment layer with the effects and parent that to the null?

Awesome tutorial all of them by the way...
Fun to watch but one little question:
What is the difference between stabelising motion and the reverse stabelysing or just tracking the motion of his face...

If this sounds stupid i'm sorry :p I think I don't really know the difference between the two ;)

Cheers

I'm also having the same problem. Is it because i'm using CS5.5? Please explain problem where video after pickwhipping all the stuff from one to the other it doesn't stabalize. Still has motion and rotation.

When I draw a mask around my face with the pen tool, everything else turns black, what should I do? (I don't know if it matters but I have after effects cs5.55)

im sooo sorry for my previous answer. i answered it before watching the tut. if you look closely he actually masks the adjustment layer not the footage.

Hi,

Is there a way to do the liquify-effect on an adjusment layer (or preferably serveral adjustment layers) and parrent those to a (or again several) null? (for one or another reason the mesh doesn't move when on an adjustment layer which is parented to a null)
Thank you!

I have a question. Please help.

When I change the opacity or any effect it only shows the result after I drop the mouse, at the point. It doesn't show the effect while I'm cycling trough.. to make myself an ideea. Also with the video, when i slide trough, to see what i get as result. It doesn't show me the video. While i drag the timeline. I hope someone understands what I mean.. please help.

Hello! The answer to your problem is that you don't have your live update button on. The Live update is right next to the "Draft 3d button on your timeline. It is located right above your files in the timeline. Hope I helped.
