I like the blur part in the begining. Was it a lens blur? Gaussian? Fast?

This is so cool :) do you use a Mac? I use a PC and have the same program, but it has some crucial differences that have hindered my progress with these tutorials...

You do realize that Andrew designs for major motion pictures? If you see something from Hollywood that looks like Andrew's work, it could very well BE Andrew's work. He does a lot more than just Video Copilot.

Good tutorial,
Not as good as the others since this is the 1st I've seen where you leave out a few steps that can be quite annoying in figuring out later for the viewer. For one you duplicate the light comp with no mention of that. You do the same later to another. I caught it early but not mentioning steps leads to confusing people. It also makes a great tutorial, good. Anywho, thanks. It gave me some ideas for an intro before my scuba videos, since it has a cool underwater look.

Thanks. I've been looking everywhere for something like this. Sure it's not exciting but I need something "magical" (yeah. Funny word) yet "functional", you know what I mean.
So, thank you for posting this tutorial.

At the very beginning where you create the text, your default colour for text is probably still on black or white. Change it to a brown/tan colour like Andrew started with. :)

I'm a little unclear on how Andrew switches out the logos in the end. He says that by switching out the type/logo the rest of the actions will apply automatically, but I must be too much of a noob to understand how to initiate this. Does anyone have a clearer understanding of this concept?
This tutorial rocks, it was absolutely priceless for creating ym own film logo. Thanks Mr. Kramer...you are a saint. Seriously.

Remember, he pre-composed the text. So what he did, was went into the composition with the text, and added other logos/text, then toggled them on and off to change the output to the main comp.
