Great tutorials! What is the adjustment layer you added in to make the blue spot light on the text? (at 7:03).
this tutorials makes my work so good, they even say im a pro, but, im a noob! hahaha i only learned this thing for 2 months i think, thanks andrew u really help a lot, great tutorials,
the good thing ive learn a lot from this website, and ill be always a fan to you andrew,,
and the bad thing is whenever i watch any movie dang. im not surprise anymore coz i do know now they are all computer tricks and cool effect that anyone can make .. dang thanks to this website... if i am rich enough i would donate some money to this website ..coz for me this was the best video effect and tutorials ive ever seen in my whole life..

when u set your adjustments layer just go to effects> stylize> and glow and just dabble with the brightness and stuff. seen him do it on his other tutorial

hi Riana,
I guess you can use the Ramp Effect on the text and set both the start and end colors as the color you want your text to glow with. Voila!

The tutorial is great, especially for a AE noob like myself, but I'm having one major problem. I cannot change the text in each layer. Now, whenever I attempt to change the text in one, it will revert back to the main layer and other layers remain unchanged.

Though I was wondering how you made that glow on the text. I'd figured you use some Adjustment Layer with Glow but mine doesn't seem to show up.
