It seems like you could get the scale of the import to a more reasonable size by scaling down the null that everything is parented to, right? You'd want to parent the camera before you did that, though, I think.
When I export for After Effects, it splits them up into 4 different png files instead of having them all in one. It has a vpe file but says that after effects doesnt use that format? confused cause thats what you used.
thnks andrew thnk u so much.u r such a darling person.without u ,i cnt make dese types of effect.ur tuts are very helpful for us.thnk u thnk u and thank u.god bles u.
have learned loads in a week of watching ALL of them. but this one VPE doesn't work for me my After Effects says UNABLE TO EXECUTE SCRIPT AT LINE 125. AFTER EFFECTS ERROR. CANNOT NORMALISE ZERO VECTOR. plz give me a solution for it
Hi, Naf
you are getting this error because your grid setup is not perfect in photoshop make sure all your grids emanate from the original plane i got similar errors and it took me 5 attempts to get it rt..but dn't give up little patience will do the trick :) andrews thanks man!!

u r god in after effect i learn a lot from u thnx to god to maid u
but yah, it does seem like you will incur an error if you draw more than one plane free hand. all other planes have to be derived from the first or you will get an error... hmmmm, although i wonder if you draw planes so that they remain blue instead of red, that is vp's way of telling you that you are still using the same vanishing point... ?
but one huuuuuge reason NOT to do this is prohibitively large file sizes depending on your original image.
i was working on a 3k image from my digital camera and it just crashed AE outright while trying to load the vpe.
i shrank all the png images proportionally and that worked (you scale pngs arbitrarily as long as the aspect ratio is maintained) but as expected, resulted in blurry textures.
cool way to start the process if you have to do projection mapping in cg though!
Hi andrew, Hope you and your family is doing well.
My best wishes to them.
So , Let me put some words.
Dear friends.
if you have good speed and bandwidth then you can see any tutorial without problem. or... close all aplication or anything which consume internet bandwith or affect net speed then Refresh and watchh.
Anothe thing. if you are looking for exporting this file to AFTER EFFECT then look the tutorial carefully , the option is not inside the core menu of PS3 but when you open vanshing point window , you will get it by clicking first ICON OF i.e an ARROW ICON ON THE LEFT - UPPER CORNER.
hello,i am from argentina, the tutorial is great, congrats for you, but i have a problem with the image wen y import it. the quality is bad and i can´t work.
