Hey Andrew, awesome tutorial! But I have one problem, I do not seem to have an alpha channel built in with 3dsmax I think, and when I set it to screen mode when I import to after effects, the model that I have becomes transparent, can you please help me D:

nah just make your Background color green or blue so you can key out in after effects. I use the same method in Blender.

Hey thanks a lot Mr. Kramer :) you sound like a dope dude. So I'm using Cinema 4D and i seem to have messed up somewhere, because using the script you mentioned parented layers do not get exported, so the groundtrack wasn't there... basically I don't know what to do in that case :( if anyone can help me, or explain to me, im just starting out with both. Email is lex@seidlitz.ca . Either way, tutorial was great! thanks a lot Andrew :)

I have a major problem, can someone please help me!

When I import the TIF-sequence into AAE they come as 142 different files..

make sure you select the little option at the bottom of the import box that says "import as sequence" , you may have to alter the interpret footage to make it match your framerate too, i think it defaults to 30fps.
