Having trouble extracting archives 2-4 of the bullet?
The 4 parts of the download are actually parts of the same archive, all you have to do is extract the first one,(once all of the files are downloaded and saved in the same directory) and it will automatically extract the other files, and place all of them in a new folder. In the new folder, there will be a HTML page named "Start Here" click on that link to begin your training.

Evolution

When I open one of the project files, I receive an error stating there are files missing.
To resolve this issue, right click on one of the elements that is “missing” and choose replace footage > file, then browse to the appropriate file and select it, if you have transferred the same file structure over from the Evolution Disc to the file on your computer, AE should locate the other missing footage files automatically, though it may take a few minutes.

I am having trouble viewing the tutorial files, or there seems to be missing elements from my collection after I downloaded and extracted the files.
Please make sure to extract the downloaded files from a non-temporary location such as your desktop or documents folder, this will preserver the file structure of the original archive and enable playback of the tutorails as well as easier location of the visual elements.

Trouble displaying elements in After Effects. Weird flickering or crashing... what can I do?
Most display issues are related to quickTime incompatibility. Here are some things to try:

1. Be sure the files are on a fast internal hard drive. Sometimes USB drives cause crashing because of the data lag.
2. Be sure you video card driver is up to date.
3. Try to install the latest version of QuickTime or
4. Try to install a stable version 7.04 here
5. Be sure to install any After Effects patches
Designer Sound Effects

I downloaded and extracted the files, but most of them are only 1 second long!
The majority of the sound elements inside of the DSFX collection are audio elements and not entire tracks, these small audio elements are used to enhance existing tracks.

I think some of the files are missing after download, where are the high resolution audio files?
Due to the large filesize of these elements, they are not available in the download version and are only available via DVD ROM, if you would like a DVD ROM to be shipped, please notify support@videocopilot.net with your order number, and they will inform you of any additional charges that may apply to your order.
