i need help with copying the files to my presets folder.. i opened it up and pasted them but a little screen came up saying: a problem is preventing these files from being encrypted.. is that supposed to happen? if not how do i fix it?

I'm finding it difficult to install the Twitch plugin to my preset. I do know it came with installation procedure. But it seem not working for me. I gues the instruction says a KEY should be downloaded. But I don't know how. Please help me to get this right. Thanks

Hey Andrew,
I keep trying to copy the "Andrew Kramer" folder for the lightsaber preset in After Effects 6.5 but it wont go into the presets file. I've tried at least ten times and it goes through with it as if it were working but it isn't appearing in the folder or in after effects. Any suggestions?

First you must have purchased trapcode particular. Once you have and have installed it, it should work just fine. I think it runs around $500 USD.

It depends which presets your trying to install, heres an example: Their 3D falloff preset only works for AE 6.5, 7.0, CS3 & CS4. To find specifications for presets , when you click on the tutorial, under TUTORIAL NOTES: It will specify what is needed. I know for a fact that it doesnt work... I have a 64 bit win 7 cs5

Hey, I currently use Adobe After Effects CS4.
I have now got the Presets Working, but i
had to do it manualy, like so...
MyComputer/LocalDisc/ProgramFiles/Adobe/
AdobeAfterEffectsCS4/SupportFiles
From here i made a New Folder and renamed it 'Presets' and simply copy and pasted VC Presets into the directory. I then started up After Effects and on the right hand side under "Effects

I downloaded the trial for after effects cs5 and didnt have the cc effects installed allready so i went to the cycore site and downloaded them however i cant install them. Ive clicked on effects and gone on utility like it says but nnothing appears. I dotn have a folder to do this however.

It won't play first time as it does a ram preview (builds the green line) it will play once its finished this. Sometime pressing (.) works too.

I was wondering do u have to have the full version or can it still be installed on the trial version as well? I installed it and i found my presets folder and when i put it in there i clicked on the preset it opens after effects up and gives me

Thankyou so much. After watching your installation tutorial carefully several times, I have installed the easy reflections preset and it is coming up fine in my preset list however when I drag onto a layer I get "This favorite contains 2 references to missing effects. Please install the following effects to restore these references ("CC RepeTile", "CC Composite") Any help would be much appreciated

For all you people who are still having trouble with the presets, you need to install them in this directory:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS4\Support Files\Plug-ins\Effects

I only found this out a while ago, as I realized in my After Effects CS4 program files, there is no presets folder. Putting the presets in the Effects folder seemed to do the trick for me.

Andrew hello, I do not speak English, but I am going it to try.

The tutorials are fantastic, thank you very much, but I have a problem, I work with mac,I install the archives, and I open the tutorial, in this case number 14, advanced double bed tips, but it does not find the particular effect, if I am doing something bad, or is not worked with mac.

To all who have CS4 i found the folder where to install the presets.

In this video it says:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3(4)\Presets

BUT

it's in the

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3(4)\Support Files\Presets
