Actually, there's another method that creates more authenticity.
Example:
1. After you finish your Composition, create another composition with same EXACT settings (very important).
2. Drag & Drop Comp 1 into Comp 2
3. Add film grain onto the new Composition.
You may like to tweak the film grain settings to create a raw natural look for your footage.
This is what the pros use when we're using a Digital Formatted Camera & want a "Film Grainy Look".
Of course, you need an HDR Plugin to match REAL Film cameras Latitudes.
let say youve got a picture and some live action footage keyed out how can you match the picture to the video like using clipping mask in photoshop but instead in after effects?
Is after effects easy to learn or is this guy so damn good at explaining things? I think it is Andrew. Other buggers could take hundreds of pages of book to explain what he does in 10 minutes. Thanks Andrew for sharing the knowledge. You have inspired me.
Man, this dude Andrew Kramer is beast! Guy is untouchable with his teaching method. I would have gotten straight A's all throughout school if I had homie as teacher for all my classes. Andrew, I'll make sure to buy some software off you to support the cause!
FeeFee >> Try updating your flash, because I have absolutely no problem watching on my Macs Safari. It runs just as well as my PC's IE. Try updating software and stuff, because you really shouldn't have a problem.
hey could u possibly have a low res tutorial option or downloadable option, i use mac and i can never watch ur tutorials on firefox or safari and i dont use i.e
i can never pause and the audio isnt synced to the video...i really love ur work and tutorials wish i could watch them at home
Nice preset. Very basic, very easy, but still good and useful for giving realism to 3D objects, which have BTW given me a pain in the middle of the buttox because of their incompatibility with the rest of the footage... Anyways, great stuff. Thanks a lot for this!
