extrude letters in text in a sequence
Hi there,
I was wondering if it's possible to extrude a few paths in a sequence, so that each letter pops out before the next. Seems simple, but I can't figure out how to do it. Please advise.
Cheers,
Bennette

Seperate groups and or element instances.

I suppose I wasn't specific enough, I'm sorry. I tried using the multi-object function, but even with that it looks like individual elements can't be animated independently. I have 7 letters to animate, and seemingly 5 groups to work with. Am I missing something or do I need to look for a script/workaround that does this?

Likely best achieved using auxiliary animation. You have 10 channels per group to pick from. Assign a different channel to each letter when selecting the letters in MESH VIEW mode (button in Scene Setup, Scene panel bottom).

Create your text. Apply the animation to it before adding the text layer to Element as a custom path. You could use one of the Animation presets to get yourself started.

I didn't say multi object, I stated additional instances of element or seperate each letter into another group.

Actually, there is an even simpler solution, which is to use the animation engine, put the letters in their original position in group 1, final position in group 2 and animate in directional or shape order sequence. With multi-object enabled.

Awesome. This is what I needed!
Thanks so much.
