Looking for Photoshop Tutorial Site like Video Copilot

Postby inawinkle on 06/23/2012, 9:03 pm

I recently got hooked on videography and love how this site has everything. Watching all the tutorials gives me an idea of whats possible and how to play around with things. Thank you Andrew for this amazing website. Now, is there a site similar on Photoshop and Illustrator? I know there are a lot of tutorials out on the web but I'd like a site like this where it lays all the cards out on the table without me having to search for a specific topic since I want to learn tricks that I don't know yet. Do you guys have any good links?

I think he would like to know if you could recommend some sites that as the same quality as VideoCopilot since Google will just spit out anything.
Try Adobe TV - they got a lot of good stuff, though they do tend to hide it behind all the new cs presentation videos.

I personally like the Tuts+ sites. There are both a vector and a psd site :)

Yup. The very first thing that pops up in the link I provided. :) It's an excellent site.

digitaltutors.com has plenty of good tutorials for all kinds of software, including Photoshop.

You have to pay to subscribe, but it might be worth the $40 for a month, depending on if there are some tutorials you want.

This has good stuff, but it may not be as "fun" as Video Copilot.

This is essentially as fun as Video Copilot, but most of the newest stuff is dull. Actually, most of the newest stuff isn't even video content...the video starts on this page:

I can vouch for DT. I am a paying subscriber, and it's got a LOT of content. So, be prepared to sit back a few hours a day and soak it all in. It's fun.
