Change Background with Photoshop

Postby Chris95 on 04/12/2012, 8:05 am

Is there an easier or faster way to separate pictures from the background with the same result or maybe a better one? ;)

select -> Color Range...
It's easy to use. Just focus on what you want to keep rather then making all of the background black in the selection preview. You can always use the eraser later.
You can sample multiple colours by holding shift. You can also exclude colours by holding alt. That way you can mask all of your character without grabbing the background as long as there is some colour variation.
