DVD Product design

Postby tal_mor1 on 07/3/2016, 5:43 am

Hello,

I am interested in creating a 3D DVD bundle product shot, same as in the product/bundle page of Videocopilot

Please see attached for example.

I would like to place the DVD's in a different environment (grass bottom, blue sky)

What would you recommend ? Perhaps there is a tutorial that can help me achieve something similar?

Should I do this in Photoshop? Or any other tool ?

I'm not a 3D artist, but I do know Element 3D a little bit, so I thought perhaps the best way would be to use E3D.
But I would need some guidance.

Thanks for your help.

There are a number of product templates out there - many of them free - for the DVD case assets. Then it's just a matter of cutting out some grass blades so it looks like they're sitting in the grass.

The easiest thing to do would be to take your own grass photos. Use a red or blue card/paper/etc. where you want the DVDs to be in one photo and then pull it out for the BG plate.
