Postby hunter111 on 05/31/2015, 7:46 am

so i took A medium Close up picture of dwayne johnson (the rock)
and tried to turn him into a zombie.

i placed a layer of A skull beneth the layer of its picture.

but i want to add a layer of flesh between the skin and the bone so i will looks more realistic but i wasent very successful in get it to look like

the skin the flesh and the bone are lying one top of the other.

any suggestion of how to make it look real?

Im using Photshop CS6 ?

thank you very much

The flesh would need to look like it is wrapped in the shape of the skull. The first two things to try are Spherizing the flesh layer and then using the Liquify tool to push the edges around in so that they appear to be wrapped around in the shape of the skull.

Shading (shadow and light) is also an important part of making it look believable, so you could stick a layer set to "overlay" over the flesh layer and paint some shadows and highlights there with black and white.

Making the three layers sort of meld into each other would likely be helpful, if they look too much like cutouts. I would use layer masks so that you can paint details in and out without destroying anything (Except for the face :D). I would expect lower layers to be darker to give some appearance of depth.
