Illustrator character pixilating in After Effects

Postby Laura_pip on 02/4/2015, 1:44 pm

Hello!
I'm having some weird issues. My character who once had perfect edges is now all pixilated and jaggedy. I've been searching for the solution for a while and can't figure it out. I have other characters but are having no such issues. Just this one. Here's a screen shot showing all my settings. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help :)

When you say 'once had' do you mean within AE or within AI?

In AE, yeah that's why I'm so baffled cause just all of a sudden, it pixilated. Very weird. :s

Well that is weird :=~

Out of sheer curiosity, try changing something small (or place a giant rectangle in the scene) within the AI file and then have AE reload. I'd be curious to see what happens. Perhaps duplicate the file, rename and import again?

You've changed the layer blending modes for all of your layers to Dissolve. You don't want that. Change them back to normal.
